The “At This Time” events will take place on December 13-14 (Wednesday and Thursday) in three locations – HaMiffal, Mazkeka, and the Sam Spiegel Cinema. Events include film screenings, music performances, candle-lighting ceremonies led by artists, performance art, a local print shop, and simply a space to meet, to find comfort and be together. Annaluise & Anton

Film Screening for Kids
פצפונת ואנטון, קרולינה לינק, 1999

Based on the beloved book by Erich Kästner (‘Emil and the Detectives,’ ‘The Flying Classroom,’ ‘Adventures of Don Quixote’), the film tells the story of Annaluise, “Dot,” and her ten-year-old friend Anton. Annaluise and Anton are best friends who always try to help each other. Annaluise’s parents are very rich and involved in high society, while Anton’s sick mother earns a living as a waitress in Giovanni’s local ice cream parlor. Anton’s dream is to take his mother to the beach so she can recover, and for that, he needs money. Dot decides to help him, and the two friends, from the two ends of the social spectrum, embark on an adventure around the city (Germany 1999 / 110 minutes / dubbed in Hebrew).
