Two days of artistic happenings that offer a breathing space during these challenging times – events born out of sincere reflection on the situation since those days, and on our place at this time. A gathering of hope, light, and life, taking place on the seventh and eighth nights of Hanukkah.

The “At This Time” events will take place on December 13-14 (Wednesday and Thursday) in three locations – HaMiffal, Mazkeka, and the Sam Spiegel Cinema. Events include film screenings, music performances, candle-lighting ceremonies led by artists, performance art, a local print shop, and simply a space to meet, to find comfort and be together. Entrance is free to all events.

Stories from these days with Renana Raz, Sivan Talmor, and Chaya Gilboa

What happens when art meets war? In recent weeks, we have all been collecting fragments of the home we had, the home we were. We lay them out before us, look at them, and listen carefully to the rising voices. Choreographer Renana Raz, musician Sivan Talmor, and thinker and host Chaya Gilboa have been traveling around since the outbreak of the war, meeting with children, families, elderly, and young people who have left their homes and are waiting to return to it. We will hear from them about small moments of human beauty that shine through the cracks, about impossible encounters in times of war, about art and compassion, and also – we will move, learn, and sing.
