Two days of artistic happenings that offer a breathing space during these challenging times – events born out of sincere reflection on the situation since those days, and on our place at this time. A gathering of hope, light, and life, taking place on the seventh and eighth nights of Hanukkah.

The “At This Time” events will take place on December 13-14 (Wednesday and Thursday) in three locations – HaMiffal, Mazkeka, and the Sam Spiegel Cinema. Events include film screenings, music performances, candle-lighting ceremonies led by artists, performance art, a local print shop, and simply a space to meet, to find comfort and be together. Entrance is free to all events.

A Letter to the Future

Writing ourselves on the scroll of this time
קרדיט צילום: ילנה קווטני

You are invited to a one-on-one meeting where we will talk about what the future holds. A conversation about the unknown, with the hope of finding hope within it. From the discussion, we will choose a sentence that will be inscribed on a large scroll, which is simultaneously a scroll of anger and of light. Your hopes, fears, thoughts, and prayers will come together and join the collective scroll of the era.

Concept and Design: Achinoam Mendelson, Eiv Kristal, and Inbal Haker / Participants: Achinoam Mendelson, Inbal Haker, and Noa Friedman / Development of a work presented at the Jerusalem Arts Festival under the direction of Guy Biran.
