Two days of artistic happenings that offer a breathing space during these challenging times – events born out of sincere reflection on the situation since those days, and on our place at this time. A gathering of hope, light, and life, taking place on the seventh and eighth nights of Hanukkah.

The “At This Time” events will take place on December 13-14 (Wednesday and Thursday) in three locations – HaMiffal, Mazkeka, and the Sam Spiegel Cinema. Events include film screenings, music performances, candle-lighting ceremonies led by artists, performance art, a local print shop, and simply a space to meet, to find comfort and be together. Entrance is free to all events.

Three members of the Jerusalem Street Orchestra in a unique performance at HaMiffal

After a residency period spent at HaMiffal last summer, a deep connection was formed between the unique acoustics of the HaMiffal’s spaces and three artists from the Jerusalem Street Orchestra’s composers hub. The trio – Artem Nizhnik (accordion), Michael Roessler (bass), and Talia Erdal (cello) – will take you on a musical journey between HaMiffal’s rooms, and between ancient sounds, known composers and original pieces. The performance is a development of a work created as part of HaMiffal’s Collectives Lab, under the artistic direction of Ann Deych.
